The technology
Most credit repair companies make you guess. CreditEdge shows you exactly what it found — and nothing goes out without your approval.
Upload PDFs or screenshots from AnnualCreditReport.com. AI extracts every tradeline, balance, status code, and date — across all three bureaus at once.
Metro-2 is the data standard bureaus use. Most disputes fail because they're vague. CreditEdge flags specific formatting violations — the kind bureaus can't simply ignore.
Every letter cites the specific FCRA section that applies. You edit before anything is sent. When you're ready, we mail certified via USPS with tracking.
Track your score across all three bureaus over time. Soft-pull checks via Method Financial won't generate hard inquiries. Get alerted when your score changes.
For business owners
D&B PAYDEX, Experian Intelliscore, and Equifax Business Credit Risk Score determine whether you get approved for SBA loans, net-30 vendor accounts, and business credit cards. CreditEdge now covers all three business bureaus alongside your personal credit — in the same dashboard.
Upload D&B, Experian Business, or Equifax Business PDFs. AI parses trade references, payment history, UCC filings, and public records. The same analysis pipeline — different data.
See your PAYDEX (0–100), Intelliscore Plus (1–100), and Equifax Business Credit Risk Score in one place. An 8-milestone tracker shows exactly what stands between you and an SBA-loanable profile.
Get a curated list of net-30 vendors that report to business bureaus. Dispute inaccurate trade references directly with the vendor or the bureau. Letters cite the correct standards — not consumer FCRA.
Simple path
No black box. No guaranteed outcomes. Just a clean dispute workflow you can actually follow.
Step 1
Pull free reports from AnnualCreditReport.com, then upload PDFs or screenshots for any or all three bureaus.
Step 2
AI highlights possible inaccuracies, Metro-2 violations, and FCRA grounds. You decide what's worth disputing — we never push you.
Step 3
Generate FCRA-cited letters. Edit them. Nothing moves to the next step until you click approve — you have full visibility and control.
Step 4
Send via USPS Certified Mail through Lob — tracked delivery, proof of receipt. Postage is billed at near-cost (~$10/letter), not marked up.
Real results
These are individual experiences from people who used CreditEdge to dispute inaccurate items. Results depend on what's actually on your report.
I had a collection account from a debt I'd already paid — the date of first delinquency was wrong by two years. CreditEdge spotted the Metro-2 violation immediately. The dispute letter was ready the same day.
What I appreciated was that it didn't promise anything. It showed me exactly what was wrong, what I could legally dispute, and what I couldn't. That honesty made me trust the letters it generated.
I was applying for a mortgage. CreditEdge found a duplicate charge-off that shouldn't have been on my Experian report. Two dispute letters, both removed within 35 days. Closed on my house.
Individual results vary. Score improvements depend on the accuracy of information disputed, bureau response, and other factors on your credit file. CreditEdge does not guarantee score changes or account removals.

Common questions
Credit repair is confusing. Here's what you need to know before you start.
Yes. The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) gives every consumer the right to dispute inaccurate, incomplete, or unverifiable information on their credit report. CreditEdge helps you exercise that right in writing — with documentation.
CreditEdge operates under the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA), which requires written contracts, disclosure of your rights, a 3-business-day right to cancel, and no charges before services are performed. We follow all of it.
You absolutely can dispute on your own — bureaus accept disputes online for free. The difference is in the quality and specificity of the argument. Generic "this isn't mine" disputes are often denied. Disputes that cite specific Metro-2 violations, FCRA section numbers, and include supporting documentation get taken more seriously.
CreditEdge generates letters that are grounded in the specific errors it found. It also handles the 30/45/60-day follow-up calendar, which most people forget.
The Credit Repair Organizations Act protects you from predatory credit repair companies. Under CROA, a legitimate service must: give you a written contract, tell you about your right to cancel, not charge you until services are actually performed, and never make false promises.
You can cancel within 3 business days of signing — no questions, no fees — and no work begins until that window closes. After that, you're billed at the end of each month for services already performed, never in advance. This isn't optional for us — it's the law, and we built it in from day one.
No. Anyone who guarantees a score improvement is either lying or breaking the law. CROA explicitly prohibits outcome guarantees in credit repair.
What we can promise: if there are genuine errors on your report, you'll have well-documented disputes filed via certified mail. If the bureau finds the information accurate, your score stays the same — and that's fine. Disputing only works on inaccurate information.
You have options. You can request a description of the procedure used in their investigation, escalate with a consumer statement added to your file, or dispute directly with the data furnisher (the creditor) — which sometimes works when the bureau investigation doesn't.
For Managed plan users, CreditEdge handles the escalation path automatically. The AI advisor can also help you think through next steps for specific accounts.
Once the bureau receives your letter, they have 30 days to investigate (sometimes extended to 45 days). From the time you mail, expect results in 5–7 weeks. Complex disputes involving multiple furnishers can take 60–90 days.
CreditEdge tracks all your disputes and reminds you when 30-day follow-up windows open.
Certified mail creates a paper trail — you get a USPS tracking number and proof of delivery with a signature. This is important: if a dispute goes to court, you need to prove the bureau received your letter on a specific date, which starts their 30-day investigation clock.
You're not required to use certified mail, but it's strongly recommended. CreditEdge sends via Lob, which integrates USPS Certified Mail at near-cost postage — typically $8–12 per letter.
Yes and no. If the reporting of a government loan contains errors — wrong balance, incorrect status codes, date discrepancies — CreditEdge can help you dispute the reporting accuracy, just like any other account.
However, the underlying debt doesn't go away through a credit dispute. SBA loans and federal student loans have their own rehabilitation, forbearance, and repayment programs that are separate from credit bureau disputes. For those, direct contact with the servicer or a nonprofit credit counselor is the right path. The AI advisor can help you think through both tracks.
Yes. CreditEdge supports all three business credit bureaus — Dun & Bradstreet (PAYDEX), Experian Business (Intelliscore Plus), and Equifax Business/SBFE (Business Credit Risk Score) — alongside the three consumer bureaus. Both are accessible from the same login and dashboard.
You can upload business credit report PDFs on all plans. Direct bureau API pulls (D&B, Experian Business, Equifax Business) require the Managed plan. Business credit disputes go to the bureau or the vendor reporting the data — the letters cite commercial reporting standards, not consumer FCRA, which is legally the correct approach.
Your SSN is accepted only at the moment of a direct bureau pull — it is never stored in our database or written to any log. Your EIN (for business accounts) is encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption before it's saved. Credit report PDFs and parsed data are stored in your account and are only accessible to you.
Parsed credit data is used to generate your dispute letters and analysis — it is not sold, shared, or used for any other purpose. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting support.
Compliance
Most credit repair companies rely on fine print and pressure. CreditEdge is built around the rules that protect you.
CROA mandates a signed service agreement before any work begins. We present the full disclosure — no hidden terms — before you pay a dollar.
Nothing is charged when you sign. You have 3 business days to cancel, and each month is billed only after its services are performed — not a courtesy we offer, but a right we honor.
Anyone promising to "remove" items or guarantee score jumps is violating CROA. We tell you what we found, what grounds exist, and what your options are — nothing more.
Create an account, upload a report, and see what's disputable — for your personal credit, your business credit, or both — before you spend a dollar on postage.
